Shares of HubSpot (HUBS) are falling in afternoon trading after Bloomberg’s Ryan Gould, citing sources, reported that Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL) has shelved efforts to acquire the company. The parties didn’t get to the due-diligence stage in deal talks on an acquisition that would have been among the biggest this year, Bloomberg added. Shares of HubSpot are down $76.86, or 14%, to $483.35 following the report.
