House Judiciary issues subpoena to Citibank over Jan 6, 2021, CNBC says

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan issued a subpoena to Citibank (C), demanding information on if the bank gave law enforcement information on customer spending and transactions on the days around January 6, 2021, Lauren Feiner of CNBC reports. This comes shortly after Jordan asked several institutions, including Citibank, Bank of America (BAC), JPMorgan (JPM), PNC (PNC), Truist (TFC), U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo (WFC), to provide the information voluntarily. Citibank was the only bank to not voluntarily comply with the request, a source familiar with the investigation told CNBC.
