Last spring, General Motors (GM) revealed it was ditching support for Apple’s (AAPL) infotainment hub, CarPlay, in its new EVs so it could bolster its own Ultifi platform, Austin Carr and David Welch of Bloomberg report. However, a growing number of users are having issues with the software, and many prefer CarPlay over Ultifi. GM now has to race to refine its software and convince customers away from CarPlay.
