Florida says Disney should drop politically motivated suit, CNBC reports

Florida’s Governor DeSantis said that Disney (DIS) and its CEO Bob Iger should drop the politically motivated lawsuit against the state of Florida over the disagreement on the company’s special tax district designation, Kevin Breuninger wrote for CNBC. Disney’s competitors all “do very well here,” said the governor, during a CNBC interview. Universal and SeaWorld (SEAS) have not been given the “same special privileges as you have,” DeSantis said he’d tell the Disney chief Iger, during the televised interview.
