Electronic Arts is increasing the price for its EA Play subscription service, for both its Play and Play Pro tiers, according to GamesIndustry.biz. The standard EA Play tier will increase to $5.99 from $4.99 per month, with the annual fee rising to $39.99 from $29.99, while the EA Play Pro subscription cost is increasing to $16.99 from $14.99 per month or $119.99 from $99.99 per year, reported James Batchelor. An email detailing the changes is being issued to subscribers today, explaining that the new prices will come into effect as of May 10, according to GamesIndustry.biz.
