Sony’s (SONY) video game “Helldivers II” topped research firm Newzoo’s revenue and engagement charts for the month of February in the U.S. and U.K., Gamesindustry.biz’s Brendan Sinclair reports. The game’s live service elements could keep it on the charts for months to come, the author notes, citing Newzoo. Other games in Newzoo’s February top ten were Epic Games’ “Fortnite,” Activition’s (MSFT) “Call of Duty” series, Electronic Arts’ (EA) “EA Sports FC 24” and “Madden NFL 24,” and Take-Two’s (TTWO) “NBA 2K24.” Investors in Epic Games include Tencent (TCEHY), KKR (KKR), Disney (DIS), and Sony.
