Comps improved slightly from February as early calendar Easter benefited the month by 150bps despite one less selling day, showcasing Easter holiday strength, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Even after adjusting for the holiday shift, this was the best core comp since January 2023, excluding December’s strong holiday sales, the firm added.
