RBC Capital analyst Walter Spracklin raised the firm’s price target on Canadian National to C$164 from C$158 and keeps a Sector Perform rating on the shares. The company’s Q4 results came in slightly ahead of consensus expectations and the 10% EPS guidance for 2024 was exactly what RBC had expected, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The key for Canadian National is that the company’s underlying projections of mid single digit volume growth suggests some room for upside, the firm added.
