Boeing (BA) CEO Dave Calhoun, when asked during an interview about the company’s potential deal to reacquire Spirit AeroSystems (SPR), said the sides are “making progress” in talks. Asked about potential timing of any such deal, Calhoun added “I hope soon.” Calhoun, who earlier this morning announced his decision to step down as Boeing CEO at the end of 2024, made the comments while being interviewed on CNBC.
