TD Cowen analyst Bill Katz upgraded BlackRock to Outperform from Market Perform with a price target of $938, up from $819. The upgrade reflects a stronger outlook for BlackRock’s legacy platform and implications post the Global Infrastructure Partners deal, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes the deal “alters the narrative” for BlackRock and it sees a path to $1,000 per share.
