AstraZeneca’s plan to pay CEO Pascal Soriot up to EUR 18.7M has been named excessive by two shareholder advisers, Ian Johnston of The Financial Times reports. This pay was proposed last month and included various requirements needed in order to receive the maximum sum for his performance this year. Glass and ISS disputed AstraZeneca’s claim that the change was necessary to increase the pay’s competitiveness and urged investors to vote against the plan at the company’s upcoming meeting.
