Apple (AAPL) may bid for the streaming rights to a range of English football games, Bloomberg’s Giles Turner reports. The rights under consideration, which would increase competition with Amazon’s (AMZN) Prime Video, would allow Apple to show Premier League games in the UK, as well as lower league matches run by the English Football League, according to people familiar with the matter.
