Apple has approached movie studios about partnering to release a few titles in theaters this year and a slate of more films in the future, Bloomberg’s Thomas Buckley and Lucas Shaw report. According to people familiar with the matter, Apple plans to spend $1B a year on theatrical releases, with potential releases including Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, spy thriller Argylle, and Ridley Scott’s Napoleon.
