Apple (AAPL) is lobbying India’s government in the hopes it will modify its income tax law to ensure the company is not taxed for the iPhone machinery it provides to contract manufacturers, Aditya Kalra, Nikunj Ohri and Aditi Shah of Reuters reports. This law is seen as a hurdle to future expansion for the company in the country and Apple will likely face billions of dollars in additional taxes if it has to change its business practices.
