Wells Fargo raised the firm’s price target on Angel Oak Mortgage REIT to $12 from $10 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm notes fundamentals in the non-QM residential mortgage business continue to improve, and it’s an attractive competitive environment for Angel Oak. Net interest income should increase through 2024 as new loans have coupons of 8%-plus, says Wells.
