Jefferies analyst Mark Lipacis raised the firm’s price target on AMD to $145 from $100 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after the company announced its latest AI developments, revealing a new GPU-only version of MI300 along with AI software partnerships with PyTorch and Hugging Face to optimize software for AMD’s platform. In terms of CPUs, AMD officially launched Bergamo for cloud workloads and Genoa-X for technical computing, noted the analyst.
