Amazon plans to push cashierless tech into more stores, Reuters says

Amazon intends tot push its cashierless shopping technology into additional third-party stores in 2024, even as it cuts down on its reliance on the technology in its own stores, Reuters’ Greg Bensinger reports. The ecommerce giant said roughly 140 stores use the system, called “Just Walk Out,” which lets customers scan an app to go into a store and leave with their items without paying at a register, the author notes.
