Barclays analyst Brandon Oglenski raised the firm’s price target on Alaska Air to $50 from $45 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares as part of his Q4 preview. Airline stocks are discounting an eventual slowdown in demand, but better leveraging of cost structures through capacity growth and lower than feared jet fuel prices "could be powerful favorable offsets" in 2023, Oglenski tells investors in a research note.
