BMO Capital analyst James Fotheringham initiated coverage of Affirm with a Market Perform rating and $44 price target. Affirm is a leading buy-now-pay-later service provider with an “impressively long runway” for ongoing payments volume growth, the analyst tells investors in a research note. However, the shares almost tripled going into year-end, thanks to interest rate relief and solid holiday volume performance, says BMO.
