Google is testing out a chatbot called “Apprentice Bard,” where employees can put forth their questions to the chatbot and receive detailed answers. Another of the company’s product teams is testing out a new “search desktop design that could be used in a question-and-answer form.”
The company has also been taking the feedback of its employees regarding these products. This news comes after concerns were raised by employees at GOOGL’s recent town hall meeting about the company losing its competitive edge to the immense popularity of ChatGPT.
Microsoft (MSFT) has already gained the upper hand when it comes to AI with its multi-billion dollar investment in ChatGPT maker OpenAI. There have also been reports that Baidu (BIDU) could also launch a ChatGPT-style service.

Overall, analysts remain bullish about GOOGL stock with a Strong Buy consensus rating based on a unanimous 23 Buys.
