The latest announcement is out from Whirlpool Corp (WHR).
Whirlpool Corporation’s recent global reorganization led to the elimination of the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer position and the consequent termination of Ava A. Harter’s employment. Harter will receive a severance payment of approximately $2.93 million over two installments, alongside additional benefits for transition consulting and health insurance, in accordance with a Waiver and Release Agreement. This agreement also includes a two-year restrictive covenant and a release of claims against the company.
