Westpac Banking Corporation has announced the appointment of Andy Maguire as an independent Non-executive Director, slated to join the board in July 2024. Maguire, with over 35 years in financial services, is recognized for his expertise in digital transformation and technology infrastructure within the banking industry. His appointment is expected to bolster Westpac’s ongoing technology simplification efforts through their UNITE program.
