Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion, known as Volaris, has outlined its risk management strategies, emphasizing the utilization of derivative financial instruments to hedge against various financial risks without engaging in speculative trading. The company adheres to a conservative Hedging Policy approved by its Corporate Governance, ensuring alignment with IFRS and the management of risks related to fuel price fluctuations, foreign currency, and interest rate variations. As of the first quarter of 2024, Volaris reported no significant changes in risk exposure and maintained effective hedging instruments.
