VEON Ltd. has announced its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for May 31, with a record date of April 25. The company proposes the election of seven board nominees, including current CEO Kaan Terzioglu and former U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo. The AGM will also review the unaudited financial statements for 2023, with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) ratified for the audit, and address the amendment of bye-laws and future auditor appointments.
