Tritax Big Box REIT plc (BBOX) shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the acquisition of UK Commercial Property REIT Limited, with a 96.65% vote in favor of the transaction. This step moves BBOX closer to the anticipated effective date of the merger on or around May 16, 2024, with new BBOX shares expected to begin trading the following day. The approval paves the way for a significant expansion of BBOX’s portfolio and presence in the UK commercial property market.
