Tesco plc (GB:TSCO) has released an update.
Tesco PLC has continued its share buyback program, purchasing an additional number of shares on April 29, 2024, which will be cancelled following the acquisition. This transaction is part of a larger £1,000 million buyback initiative, as authorized by shareholders at the 2023 AGM. Post-purchase, the total number of ordinary shares in issue stands at 7,038,929,840.
