Tesco plc (GB:TSCO) has released an update.
Tesco PLC has continued its share buyback program by purchasing 5,667,883 ordinary shares at an average price of 309.59 pence each on May 17, 2024. These shares will be cancelled, reducing the number of shares in issue to 7,027,679,728. This move is part of a £1 billion share buyback initiative previously announced and approved by shareholders.
