Robert Schumm has stepped down from the Board of Directors of Senseonics Holdings, Inc., effective March 19, 2024, a move not motivated by disagreements but due to a shift in his professional focus within PHC Holdings Corporation’s businesses. To fill the vacancy, the Board has appointed Brian Hansen, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the medical device sector, as a director, with his term lasting until the 2025 annual stockholders’ meeting. Hansen’s appointment is in line with an Investor Rights Agreement between PHC and Senseonics. His expertise, drawn from leadership roles across various healthcare companies, is expected to contribute significantly to Senseonics’ strategic direction, particularly in the distribution and commercialization of their continuous glucose monitoring systems.
