Saint-Gobain has inaugurated its first fully electrified and zero-carbon plasterboard plant in North America, located in Sainte-Catherine, Canada, powered entirely by hydroelectricity. This plant, the largest of its kind globally, increases production capacity by 40% while reducing energy consumption by 30% and CO₂ emissions by 44,000 tons annually.
