ING Groep N.V. has announced Daniele Tonella as the new Chief Technology Officer and member of the Management Board Banking, starting from August 5, 2024. Tonella brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership within the financial industry, including roles at UniCredit and AXA Group. His appointment, which has been approved by the European Central Bank, is aimed at driving ING’s digital leadership and executing its strategy to become the leading European bank.
