HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has released an update.
HSBC Holdings plc has continued its share buy-back program, purchasing and subsequently cancelling a significant number of shares on April 17, 2024, across UK and Hong Kong venues. This move, part of a larger buy-back initiative announced in February, has led to a total expenditure of approximately US$1.857.9 million for over 237 million shares since the program’s start. The company’s issued share capital is now adjusted to 18,887,148,340 shares with voting rights, and further adjustments will follow once the Hong Kong repurchased shares are cancelled.
