Glencore plc (GB:GLEN) has released an update.
Glencore plc has reported its first quarter production for 2024, maintaining full year production guidance as previously announced. Production levels were largely consistent with the previous year except for a notable 14% increase in nickel output, attributed to recovery from previous labor strikes. Despite lower cobalt and ferrochrome volumes due to market adjustments and a smelter idling, the company expects full-year marketing EBIT to be at the higher end of their long-term guidance range.
