Gerdau (GGB) has released an update.
Gerdau S.A. has announced a significant capital increase to R$ 24.35 billion, achieved by capitalizing reserves and issuing over 351 million new shares, which will be distributed as a bonus to current shareholders at a ratio of 1 new share for every 5 held. Commencing April 22, 2024, these new shares will be eligible for dividends and can be traded or consolidated via specific mechanisms until May 22, 2024.
