Firstgroup plc (GB:FGP) has released an update.
FirstGroup plc has executed a share buyback transaction, purchasing 250,524 of its ordinary shares at prices ranging from 170.80 pence to 173.60 pence per share. This move is part of a buyback program announced on June 8, 2023, and following the transaction, the company holds 113,807,064 shares in treasury, with the total number of shares in issue standing at 636,887,951, excluding treasury shares. The repurchased shares are initially held as treasury shares with a possibility of being cancelled in the future.
