FirstGroup plc has recently executed a share buyback, purchasing 301,584 ordinary shares at a weighted average price of 169.40 pence per share, with prices ranging between 167.20 and 171.20 pence. Post-purchase, the company’s treasury holds 112,895,999 shares, with the total number of shares in issue standing at 637,799,016. The shares may be held in treasury with the possibility of cancellation in the future.
