Ferrexpo plc reported a remarkable 203% increase in iron ore pellet and concentrate production in the first quarter of 2024, despite the war in Ukraine posing significant challenges, including additional conscriptions from its workforce. The company resumed exports from Ukrainian ports, boosting sales to Europe, MENA, and Asia and contributing to a strong quarter with total sales volumes of nearly two million tonnes. Ferrexpo continues to focus on employee safety, extensive training programs, and maintaining high production standards in a complex logistical environment.
