EnQuest PLC has actively bought back shares, announcing a recent purchase of 209,022 shares through Merrill Lynch at a weighted average price of 10.77 GBp per share. The company has acquired a total of 39.7 million shares since April, retaining 25 million in Treasury for their Employee Benefit Trust and canceling the rest. Following the cancellations, EnQuest’s total shares in issue and total voting rights have been updated, impacting shareholders’ notification thresholds.
