EML Payments Limited has successfully negotiated a settlement for the deferred acquisition payments of the PFS Group, acquired in 2020, for £15.0 million—a significant reduction from the original amount plus interest. The settlement resolves all outstanding liabilities related to the acquisition, improving EML’s balance sheet and mitigating future risks. The payment, which finalizes the acquisition terms, will be made from EML’s cash reserves by 31st July 2024.
