EasyJet Plc (GB:EZJ) has released an update.
EasyJet Plc has reported a significant reduction in its winter losses, with a forecasted headline loss before tax of £340 to £360 million for the first half of the year. The improvement has been attributed to a strategic capacity increase in high-demand areas, maintaining non-fuel costs, and a robust performance from EasyJet holidays, which saw a £31 million profit before tax, a 206% increase year-on-year. Despite challenges such as fuel costs and the impact of Middle Eastern conflict, the airline has seen strong Easter demand and anticipates a busy summer with substantial bookings already made.
