Descartes Systems Group has expanded its global trade intelligence solutions by acquiring OCR Services Inc., a provider of trade compliance solutions and content. The $90 million purchase enhances Descartes’ offerings with OCR’s expertise in export compliance, particularly in the use of AI for content management, and broadens their market reach in Europe and Asia. This strategic acquisition aims to provide customers with more robust tools to manage the complexities of global trade compliance.
