Core & Main Appoints New Director, Expands Board Expertise

Core & Main, Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors to nine members and appointed James D. Hope as a new Class I director, leveraging his extensive background in food distribution and corporate leadership. Hope, who brings expertise in accounting, strategic planning, and risk management, will serve on the Board and Audit Committee until the 2025 annual stockholders’ meeting. His compensation aligns with the company’s standard, combining both stock units and cash, and includes an additional stipend for his Audit Committee role. Hope’s appointment, aimed at enhancing the Board’s breadth of experience, was publicly announced by the company.
