Jean S. Blackwell has informed Celanese Corporation’s Board of Directors of her intention to retire and not seek re-election at the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Her departure, marking the end of over a decade of service on the Board and its committees, is not due to any operational, policy, or practice disagreements with the Company. The Board has expressed gratitude for her contributions and wished her well in her retirement.
