ArcelorMittal (MT) has released an update.
ArcelorMittal has disclosed its financial position, revealing a total capitalization of $66.75 billion as of December 31, 2023, which includes shareholder’s equity and debts. In the first quarter of 2024, the company repurchased 22.5 million shares for $600 million and reduced its short-term debt by repaying €529 million in bonds. It also guaranteed an additional $86 million of its operating subsidiaries’ debt and maintained $5.4 billion in available credit.
