West Canyon Energy Corp. (WCYN) is an early-stage company primarily engaged in the search for and extraction of oil and gas resources within Colombia. A key asset for the firm is its 16% ownership stake in the Buenavista block, an exploration venture located northeast of the Colombian capital, Bogota. Established in 2004, this Houston, Texas-based company was previously known as PetroSouth Energy Corp. before officially adopting the name West Canyon Energy Corp. in April 2008.
