Bulls Say
Strong Free Cash Flow GenerationConsistently near-$10B FCF and ~97% conversion provide durable internal funding for investments, buybacks and M&A without immediate reliance on capital markets. This cash cushion improves resilience to cyclical demand shocks and funds strategic initiatives over the next 2–6 months.
Scale And Multi-year Revenue ExpansionLarge, sustained top-line scale across Mobility, Delivery and Freight underpins strong network effects and pricing leverage. The size and diversification of revenue streams make core unit economics more durable and support ongoing margin and product investment over the medium term.
Deepening Engagement Via Uber One MembershipA >50M membership base with 3x spend and over half of bookings creates durable loyalty, higher customer lifetime value and easier cross-sell. This entrenched engagement supports recurring revenue, better take rates and reduced marketing unit costs going forward.
Bears Say
Large Delivery Hero Takeover Adds Financing And Regulatory RiskThe takeover materially expands market footprint but introduces sizable execution, cross-border regulatory and financing complexity. The €14B bridge facility and conditional approvals elevate integration and approval risk that can absorb management attention and affect capital allocation over 6–18 months.
Meaningful Debt And Rising Leverage TTMWhile leverage improved from earlier years, a $15.9B debt load and a TTM uptick reduce financial flexibility. If profitability or cash flow weakens, elevated leverage could constrain buybacks, M&A funding or require higher interest commitments, increasing downside risk over months.
Competitive Intensity And Margin Pressure In DeliverySustained competition in key international Delivery markets plus a mix shift into lower-margin grocery/retail can erode unit economics. Maintaining share may require continued promotions or investment, pressuring Delivery margins and overall profitability durability over the medium term.

Company Description
Uber Technologies
Uber Technologies, Inc. is a leading technology corporation that conceptualizes and deploys its proprietary software applications across a broad global footprint, spanning North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. The company primarily serves as a digital nexus, linking consumers with independent transport providers for ride-hailing services. Furthermore, it connects individuals and other patrons with a variety of establishments—such as restaurants, grocery stores, and other retailers—to a network of delivery service providers for the preparation and transport of meals, groceries, and other goods. The organization structures its operations into three distinct divisions: Mobility, Delivery, and Freight. The Mobility division facilitates access for consumers to a wide array of transportation options offered by drivers, including traditional cars, auto rickshaws, motorbikes, minibuses, or taxis. This segment also incorporates financial collaborations, public transit integrations, and various vehicle-centric solutions. The Delivery division empowers users to easily locate and place orders from local eateries for either collection or delivery. Additionally, it encompasses the delivery of groceries, alcoholic beverages, convenience items, and a selection of other merchandise. The Freight division functions by pairing freight carriers with shippers through its platform, providing carriers with clear, pre-disclosed pricing and streamlined shipment booking capabilities, alongside broader transportation management and logistics services. Originally incorporated as Ubercab, Inc., the company officially adopted the name Uber Technologies, Inc. in February 2011. It was established in 2009 and maintains its principal offices in San Francisco, California.
