StratoComm Corporation is a global developer and provider of telecommunications infrastructure solutions. The company's flagship offering includes a "transitional telecommunications system," a wireless platform capable of delivering a comprehensive suite of real-time and non-real-time multimedia services. These services encompass voice communications (VoIP), internet access (browsing, email), e-learning and medical applications (distance learning, telemedicine), diverse conferencing options (video, audio, telephony), e-commerce functionalities (shopping, banking), interactive gaming, collaborative work tools, push notifications, IP multicast streaming, interactive IPTV, video-on-demand, virtual private networking, and LAN interconnection. Furthermore, StratoComm operates a solar-powered lighter-than-air vehicle, deployed over both rural and metropolitan regions, to provide high-speed wireless backbone telecommunication services, ranging from mobile to fiber-optic speeds. A stratospheric telecommunications system is also part of its portfolio, offering voice, broadband, and broadcast capabilities. Founded in 1992, the company was initially named US/Africa Ventures, Inc. before changing to StratoComm Corporation, and its main office is located in Albany, New York.
