Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Improved Balance SheetMaterial improvement in leverage and a return to positive equity reduce near-term refinancing and solvency risk. This stronger capital structure lengthens runway for clinical programs, lowers pressure for urgent dilutive financings, and supports multimonth development and partnering activities.
Partnership-driven Business ModelA partnering/licensing model lets Alligator share development risk and access non-dilutive cash via upfronts, research funding and milestones. Over months this can extend program funding, enable external validation from partners, and align incentives without requiring immediate product sales.
Focused Immunotherapy PipelineA targeted drug platform in antibody-based immuno-oncology addresses enduring unmet needs and remains a high-priority area for big pharma partners. Clinical-stage assets in these mechanisms can sustainably attract collaborations, licensing interest, and late-stage development resources over the coming months.
Bears Say
High Cash BurnVery large negative operating and free cash flow implies ongoing funding requirements and runway risk. Continued cash burn constrains the ability to advance multiple trials concurrently, increases likelihood of capital raises, and can force reprioritization of programs over a multi-month horizon.
Minimal And Shrinking RevenueSharp revenue decline and negligible recurring sales limit internal funding capacity and signal reduced near-term partner payments. This weak revenue base makes the company dependent on lump-sum collaborations or financings, increasing funding volatility and operational constraints over months.
Persistent Operating LossesOngoing material operating losses erode reserves and reduce strategic flexibility. Persistent negative margins heighten sensitivity to any funding disruption, can worsen terms in deal negotiations, and elevate dilution risk from future capital raises needed to sustain clinical development.

Company Description
Alligator Bioscience AB
Alligator Bioscience AB (publ) is a research-intensive biotechnology company based in Lund, Sweden, focused on developing innovative antibody-based treatments for cancer. The company leverages several proprietary technology platforms to drive its drug development. These include ALLIGATOR-GOLD and ALLIGATOR-FAB, an extensive human antibody library boasting roughly 60 billion distinct antibody fragments; FIND, a molecular evolution technique used for optimizing antibodies and other proteins; and RUBY, a specialized format for creating bispecific antibodies. Alligator Bioscience's pipeline features several promising candidates. In the clinical stage, Mitazalimab, an immunostimulatory CD40 antibody, has successfully completed Phase I trials for metastatic cancer. Also undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation is ATOR-1017, another immunostimulatory antibody designed to bind to the 4-1BB receptor on tumor-specific T cells. For its preclinical efforts, the company is advancing ALG.APV-527, a bispecific antibody targeting both 4-1BB and 5T4 for cancer therapy. Additionally, Alligator Bioscience holds an interest in the Biosynergy (AC101) project, which is currently in Phase I. To bolster its research and development capabilities, Alligator Bioscience has formed multiple strategic collaborations. It has a co-development partnership with Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. for ALG.APV-527, and a research alliance with MacroGenics, Inc. to create novel immunotherapies. Further collaborations include a joint research agreement with BioArctic AB (publ) to utilize proprietary antibody generation technologies for new product candidates, and a research and license agreement with Orion Corporation aimed at discovering and developing new bispecific antibody cancer therapeutics. The company was established in 2000.
