Its operations are divided into two core segments: Radio and Television. The company is responsible for producing and disseminating a wide array of Spanish-language material, encompassing radio programs, television series, musical content, and live entertainment spectaculars. SBSAA holds ownership and management of 18 radio stations strategically located in significant urban centers such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, and San Francisco, alongside Puerto Rico. Furthermore, it manages the AIRE radio networks, which extend its reach through approximately 290 affiliated stations. On the television front, the company possesses 5 stations under its MegaTV brand, supplemented by numerous additional MegaTV broadcasting platforms established through affiliation or programming contracts. Beyond its broadcast activities, SBSAA organizes and presents live concerts and other events. Its digital footprint includes a suite of bilingual websites, such as lamusica.com and Mega.tv, as well as various station-specific sites, all delivering content related to Latin music, entertainment news, and cultural topics. The company also oversees the LaMusica mobile application and HitzMaker, an innovative platform designed to foster aspiring musical talent. Through its radio stations, SBSAA caters to diverse musical tastes, offering formats such as Tropical, Regional Mexican, Spanish Adult Contemporary, Top 40, and Urbano. Its television offerings span a spectrum from programs branded with radio personalities to general entertainment fare, including music shows, celebrity features, news reports, debates, interviews, and personality-driven content. Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. was founded in 1983 and maintains its headquarters in Miami, Florida.
