Grupo Televisa is a key player in Mexico's telecommunications sector. Its cable subsidiary, Izzi, operates networks capable of reaching nearly 20 million Mexican residences and provides broadband connections to 6 million subscribers. The company is likewise a major provider of pay-television services in Mexico, with a customer base of 4 million. Furthermore, Televisa holds a controlling interest in Sky Mexico, the nation's exclusive satellite television operator, which serves roughly 6 million households. After merging its traditional media assets into Univision, Grupo Televisa now possesses a 45% stake in the resulting entity, TelevisaUnivision. In February 2024, Grupo Televisa divested various non-essential ventures, such as its magazine publishing segment, three Mexican professional soccer teams, and Stadium Azteca, rebranding them collectively as Ollamani.
