Grupo Televisa is a prominent telecommunications company operating in Mexico. The company is also a significant participant in Mexico's pay-television sector, serving four million customers. Additionally, Televisa holds a controlling interest in Sky Mexico, the nation's exclusive satellite television provider, which caters to roughly six million users. After incorporating its conventional media businesses into Univision, Grupo Televisa now holds a 45% ownership share in the newly formed entity, TelevisaUnivision.
